Project scope

What is the main goal for this project?: Our company would like to explore re-designing our current webapp with a prototype. We are always on the lookout for innovative and fresh UI and UX ideas that will help our users.
This will involve:
Conducting background research on our existing web application for the product. We are happy to provide a walkthrough and other resources to help bring them up to speed.
Creation of a screen by screen UX / UI prototype of a web application which can be used on all major browsers and be mobile friendly
Create prototype of a redesigned web application on React.js
What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?: By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:
Familiarize themselves with our existing product
Design and build inside of the design tool all the needed screens for a redesigned prototype of our product
Create prototype of a redesigned web application.
Final deliverables should include
The design screens and all assets in a shareable format
A code of a webapp pushed to company's code repository

How will you support learners in completing the project?: Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:
Current product understanding
Industry standard design tools and applications
