CT Parts is seeking to enhance the efficiency of its supply chain for engine, hydraulic, final drive and swing gear, undercarriage, GET attachment, air conditioning, and quick-wear parts. The current supply chain processes have room for improvement in terms of cost-effectiveness and delivery speed. The goal of this project is to analyze the existing supply chain operations and identify areas where improvements can be made. Learners will apply their knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, and data analysis to develop strategies that optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and improve supplier relationships. The project will involve evaluating current processes, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing actionable solutions to enhance overall supply chain performance.



Key tasks include:


- Conducting a thorough analysis of the current supply chain processes.


- Identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement.


- Developing strategies to optimize inventory management and reduce lead times.


- Proposing solutions to improve supplier relationships and communication.

Deliverables

The deliverables for this project will include a comprehensive report detailing the analysis of the current supply chain, identified inefficiencies, and proposed optimization strategies. Additionally, a presentation summarizing the key findings and recommendations will be required. The team will also create a process improvement plan that outlines specific actions to be implemented. These deliverables will provide CT Parts with actionable insights to enhance their supply chain operations.
