What is the main goal for this project?: Through KARA's social media, media outreach and next book, gather and present to the public and professionals (lawmakers, administrators & policy makers) healthcare data, interviews and articles outlining the underreported reality of child abuse, trauma and self-harm in the U.S.
What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?: 1) Work with KARA director Mike Tikkanen to gather information (data, interviews, articles) on the topic.
2) Present information in concise piece/s to be used in KARA'S social/print media, and next book.

Some research and writing skills
Not necessary, but useful, the desire and ability to interview people in the medical field that have knowledge in this area.
