What is the main goal for this project?

The main goal of this project is to create a comprehensive social media campaign strategy for Unity Kitchener. This will involve several different steps for the students, including:


- Researching the target audience for Unity Kitchener and understanding their interests and needs.


- Developing a strategy for creating content that resonates with the target audience.


- Creating a content calendar for the social media campaign.


- Crafting engaging social media posts that are tailored to the target audience.


- Analyzing the performance of the social media campaign and making adjustments as needed.


What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:


- Understanding of the target audience and their interests and needs.


- A comprehensive social media campaign strategy.


- A content calendar for the social media campaign.


- Engaging social media posts tailored to the target audience.


- An analysis of the performance of the social media campaign and adjustments as needed.


How will you support learners in completing the project?

We will have a introductory meeting where we will explain who we are, what we do, how we do it and what we need.


Students will work closely with the primary project manager who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.


What skills or technologies will help learners to complete the project?

In order to complete this project, students can self-teach, but it is beneficial to be familiar with:


- Social media marketing and content creation.


- Understanding of target audience and their interests and needs.


- Analyzing data and making adjustments as needed.


- Crafting engaging social media posts.



Students will be expected to research and learn more about the above as the project goes along.
