- What is the main goal for this project?

We are seeking enthusiastic and innovative students to collaborate on an exciting project aimed at enhancing the online presence of www.surgo.com through a comprehensive SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategy. The primary goal of this project is to ensure that Surgo achieves high organic rankings in Google and other search engines. In addition to traditional SEO techniques, students will be encouraged to explore the integration of AI (Artificial Intelligence) technologies to enhance the effectiveness of the strategy.
This will involve several different steps for the students, including:
- Conduct keyword research to identify relevant search terms and phrases related to Surgo's products and services
- Analyse Surgo's current website structure, content, and backlink profile to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop a customized SEO strategy tailored to Surgo's specific goals and target audience
- Utilize AI technologies, to optimize content creation, keyword targeting, and user experience
- What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:
- Compiled a list of the most relevant SEO keywords for us.
- Implemented on-page and off-page SEO tactics, including meta tag optimization, content optimization, link building, and local SEO strategies
Bonus steps would include:
- Monitored and tracked key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the SEO strategy and make data-driven adjustments as needed
Final deliverables should include
- A comprehensive report detailing the project process, findings, and recommendations for ongoing SEO efforts

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:
- What SEO keywords are being used by our company now, and which keywords have been used in the past?
- How do we rank on Google based on different search terms?
- Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
