- What is the main goal for this project?

We are looking for a student to help us update and develop our existing website (built using Wix).
- What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

- Test our website on the front-end to ensure all pages, features, and hyperlinks are working as intended
- Create mock-ups for redesign of web pages for more user friendly experience (if needed)
- Ensure both the desktop and mobile site are responsive to the user's device size
- Update website content as requested by project manager (and ensure content language fits SEO requirements)
- Identify any issues/bugs and potential solutions
- Perform website updates and back-up the most up-to-date version of the website to the Wix platform
- Other tasks related to website maintenance on an ad-hoc basis

- How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will work closely with project manager, Appneet Singh who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.
- What skills or technologies will help learners to complete the project?

In order to complete this project, students can self-teach, but it is beneficial to be familiar with the website builder www.wix.com.
Asset to have previous experience with website builders and coding (HTML, CSS).
