Youth Empowerment & Support Services (YESS) aims to enhance its recruitment process to attract passionate and qualified candidates dedicated to supporting youth. The current recruitment materials need updating to better reflect the organization's mission and values. The goal of this project is to create a comprehensive interview guide and job description template that will streamline the hiring process and ensure consistency across all recruitment efforts. This project will allow learners to apply their knowledge of human resources and communications by developing materials that align with YESS's objectives. The project involves researching best practices in recruitment, understanding the specific needs of YESS, and crafting documents that are both informative and engaging.

Youth Empowerment and Support Services (YESS)’ Youth Support Centre is a 24/7, single-point-of-access to immediate and low-barrier physical, mental, cultural, and emotional health supports and a safe place to stay for youth aged 15-21 who are experiencing crisis in the Edmonton Metro Area. The Youth Support Centre also host Monday to Friday Resource and Health Hubs with physical and mental health clinics and youth-supporting resources to ensure youth 15-24 get the help they need, when they need it.
Our focus is on building strong collaborations with our Youth Agency Collaboration partners to leverage what each of us does best, to create more effective processes, outcomes, and opportunities for youth.
