music performance audio designWorldMiniMusic aims to create an engaging karaoke platform that works the same for any song in any language. The project focuses working with an already built user-friendly interface and a sample of 1000 youtube videos. So far 70 languages have been tested. The goal is to explore popular and/or cultuarally significant songs from as many diverse languages and religions as possible and making it accessible to a global audience. The project will involve researching popular songs and learning them quickly. By leveraging classroom knowledge in software development and user interface design, learners will contribute to a culturally enriching musical platform.
Key tasks include:
- Developing the display system.
- Ensuring accurate synchronization of lyrics with audio tracks.
- Designing an intuitive user interface for easy navigation.
- Learning and Enhancing the current display.
- Adding more songs and languages to the current archive.
- Helping improve presentation of printed material to a publishing company
