strategic planning user research behavioral analytics new product developmentThe objective of this project is to support the physical development and community advancement of Baby BRM, an innovative 3-in-1 infant soothing device designed to relieve colic and improve caregiver well-being.
The project has two key goals: (1) assist in building 10 early-stage prototypes of the product, and (2) support outreach efforts to maternal and infant health organizations, innovation hubs, and universities to introduce the product and seek funding or pilot collaboration opportunities.
Learners will contribute to two main outcomes: (1) the creation of 10 physical prototypes of the Baby BRM device based on the provided concept and specifications, and (2) a field outreach package that includes a list of relevant maternal-infant health centers or university innovation hubs, outreach emails or pitch materials, and a funding proposal draft. A final summary report outlining the process, outcomes, and next-step recommendations will also be delivered.

SmartMed’s main mission is to design and implement intelligent, customizable and user-friendly software solutions.
But the Baby BRM idea is a side project that started in Ontario.
