Project scope

What is the main goal for this project?: I am a small business owner looking for some innovative and creative ideas to help my business grow. As a boutique marketing consultancy, we focus on local businesses that need help growing. The challenge I have faced is that I am having trouble scaling my business because of the onboarding time and hand-holding needed with my existing clients. This means I don't have much time left to grow my own businesses (i.e: finding and onboarding new clients and marketing my business).

I also outsource much of the digital marketing fulfillment for my clients (SEO, Web design/dev, Social Media, Paid advertising, etc), which means managing those resources on top of client management.

I'm seeking ideas to help me grow and potentially recommend/develop better systems to allow me to scale my business - whether that is sales/marketing strategy, improved sales process, qualified lead generation, onboarding and client management efficiency recommendations, etc. I am open to any suggestions!
What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?: By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:
Understand current client landscape, service offerings, value proposition, ideal client profile, and onboarding and client management processes
Identify the biggest opportunities to help the business grow via improved operational excellence and/or sales/marketing strategy.
Recommend next steps based on the opportunities identified

Final deliverables should include
Presentation describing our biggest challenge and recommended solution.

How will you support learners in completing the project?: Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to any questions and help them gain an understanding of the business and details about the challenges we face. We'll also be available to provide input/feedback to any ideas/recommendations.
