Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

The goal of this project is to find and interview people for two separate types of interview: user testing and user discovery.

User Testing: Gathering feedback on what people think of Noo Speak's UI/UX, features, usefulness, what they like/dislike, what they want to see changed, etc.

User Discovery: Finding language learners and collecting feedback on what people think of existing language learning apps, what they want in a language learning app, how they currently learn languages, what helps them, etc.

By the end of the project, we aim to have interviewed 10 people from each category.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

The project activities include:

  • Determining ways of finding users to interview (ads, online communities, on-campus, email reachout, etc.)
  • Setting up interviews
  • Conducting interviews (alongside the project manager)
  • Recording the interviews
  • Writing up a short summary of findings for each interview
  • Identifying common themes in the findings
How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will be have access to the project manager & founder of Noo Speak throughout the experience. Students will be supported & mentored through the user interview process.
