Vancouver Region Educational Services is seeking to enhance its Volunteer Success Program to better serve local communities and engage volunteers effectively. The project aims to streamline volunteer recruitment and engagement processes, ensuring that volunteers have a rewarding experience while contributing meaningfully to community events and initiatives.

We offer several in-person and virtual volunteer positions within our Volunteer Success Program:

• Blog Writer
• Data Analysis Assistant
• Event Helpers at our events such as the Regional Speech Contest and the Toronto Volunteer Convention and Volunteer Appreciation Event
• Market Research Assistant
• Social Media Assistant
• Summer Camp Assistant

Requirements:

Individuals of all backgrounds and skill levels are encouraged to apply!

You can sign up for as many hours as you want. For our virtual opportunities, you must be able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per month. You can join this program anywhere in Canada!

The project deliverables will include a comprehensive report outlining the current state of the Volunteer Success Program, along with recommendations for improvement. Learners will also develop a strategic plan for volunteer engagement, including marketing strategies and event management enhancements. Additionally, a presentation summarizing the findings and proposed strategies will be delivered to Vancouver Region Educational Services. The deliverables aim to provide actionable insights and practical solutions to enhance the volunteer program's effectiveness.
