This project focuses on developing the backend system for Actnovate Inc's Business Brokerage Platform. The frontend is currently in the planning phase, and the backend needs to be designed and developed from scratch. The primary goal is to create a robust, flexible, and scalable backend that will seamlessly integrate with the frontend and support future enhancements. The project involves designing a relational database schema, implementing business logic for key operations, and building RESTful API endpoints. The backend will support modules such as Time Tracking, Project Management, Employee Directory, and Leave Management. Students will gain hands-on experience in backend architecture, database modeling, and API development, applying classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios.

The project deliverables include a well-structured relational database schema with entity relationship diagrams, at least four fully functional backend modules, and configured business logic workflows. Additionally, students will develop RESTful API endpoints for CRUD operations and process execution. Comprehensive documentation, including a schema-to-UI mapping document and a recorded video walkthrough of a critical backend process, will also be provided.
