Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

To impact more people throughout BC and Canada with our programs, we need assistance developing an outreach process. We would like to equip our team with a plan that guides them in researching new partners, identifying key stakeholders, and reaching out with compelling messages. We would like you to create a simple step-by-step strategy for prospecting in our target market and increase revenue generation as a newly transitioned Charity from NFP.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

The final project deliverable is a report including research, analysis, and recommendations. It should assist our team in successfully prospecting within our target market with actionable recommendations that will increase our participation and revenue generation.

How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will work closely with the Executive Director who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary. They will also be working with an assigned board member on a day to day basis to discuss any requirements and to answer any questions.

Students will have all required accessed to Odihi networks for the duration of the project.

What skills or technologies will help learners to complete the project?

The project may include, but is not limited to:

  • Identifying new potential stakeholders that align with our current customer base.
  • Compiling relevant market information.
  • Building a customizable outreach script.
  • Creating a simple tracking framework, including metrics, for measuring outreach success.
  • A clear defined Business Plan as a newly launched Charity.
About the company

Odihi is a BIPOC-led charity that is dedicated to advance education by providing leadership training programs and self esteem training sessions to Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) women and girls and to address and prevent problems faced by BIPOC women and girls.

Odihi means “the essence of greatness”, and this mantra drives our organization’s mission to help marginalized people achieve both personal fulfillment and professional success. We use a combination of career coaching, interactive workshops, and one-on-one mentorships to provide career advice and educational resources that are sensitive to the unique challenges that people of colour–and BIPOC women in particular–face throughout their formal education and entry into the workforce.
