Outreach and Government Relations Assistant
Parents of Black Children (PoBC) is looking for an individual to support our Outreach and Government Relation Analyst with writing and reporting government documents. We are also seeking support in data collection and analysis. We want to use data to illustrate Black students' harm within the education and adjacent systems. We need support in two areas: 1. Organizational Data Analysis Parents of Black Children have data from all of our programs. We are looking for the following: To be able to pull it all together to tell the story of what Black students are experiencing within the education system. Quantitative/Qualitative Data Visualization How can we create mechanisms to collect data for our programs and initiatives that give us the most fruitful and useful data sets 2. Provincial Data Collection We would like to identify the experience and needs of Black families across the province as it relates to Anti-Black Racism We want to understand the regional differences in experiences if any
Outreach and Government Relations Assistant
Parents of Black Children (PoBC) is looking for an individual to support our Outreach and Government Relation Analyst with writing and reporting government documents. We currently have a Government Relations and Outreach strategy for the year and are looking for an individual or team who can help us execute our strategy.
Communications Assistant
Parents of Black Children (PoBC) is looking for an individual to support our Communication Lead with social media content creation, campaign support, data collection and media outreach. We want to be able to help tell the stories of Black families to ensure that institutions are held accountable and anti-Black racism is not tolerated within education. We need support mainly in these areas: 1. Social Media Content Creation Create content that tells the story of what Black students are experiencing within the education system. Create content in bulk so we are showcasing our presence every other day. Help facilitate the growth of a Tik-Tok page. 2. Campaign Support Newsletters, email campaigns, social media elements, press releases, and media advisories. We would like to identify the experience and needs of Black families across the province as it relates to Anti-Black Racism. Support with research and resources would be necessary. Media Outreach.
Operating Budget Development for Parents of Black Children Organization
The main goal for the project is to develop an operating budget with functional spreadsheets for the Parents of Black Children organization, assessing all organizational agreements, partnerships, grants, and service contracts to ensure a comprehensive financial overview for the upcoming operational year. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Analyzing all organizational agreements, partnerships, grants, and service contracts. - Developing functional spreadsheets for the operating budget. - Assessing the financial impact of all agreements, partnerships, grants, and service contracts. - Ensuring a comprehensive financial overview for the upcoming operational year.
