ABOUT Menopeer Canada Inc.Menopeer Canada (MC) and Mental Health Innovations (MHI) have partnered to develop a new online, blended learning and development program called Menopeer Support Specialist training for women to connect with and empower women during their menopause transition. This training program will qualify women as peer support workers. Menopeer support specialists (menopeers) use their lived experience of menopause plus their peer support skills to provide hope and empowerment. Menopeers offer a safe space to share the menopause journey, an understanding of another’s situation empathically through the shared experience, and emotional support during this life change. ABOUT Menopeer Support ServicesHello: I am in training to become a menopeer support specialist. A menopeer uses her lived experience of menopause plus skills learned in formal training to deliver peer support for mind-body empowerment. I will be offering peer support services for women experiencing menopause. What this means is I will be using my own experience to provide emotional support, share knowledge, connect and help women better manage the menopause transition. I need insights to help launch my new service into a new market and the best approach to go to market successfully with my service offering of peer support services 1:1 and group sessions. Initial questions to brainstorm include, but are not limited to:1. What is the total market size for this opportunity in Canada?2. How can I establish my new brand: Build awareness, acquire customers?I am also looking to gain alternative perspectives on potential marketing tactics and better understand the current competitive market.
