I have worked for over 15 years in financial markets and investments, where I always gravitated around innovation. After deciding to leave the corporate world to join a startup in a cold and humid basement. As the Head of Strategy & Operations, I helped this small innovative group to become a real company, with funding and a decent office :)
I then co-founded authentic.art alongside a visual artist with 2 decades of experience to help solve a critical issue for artist: to provide an infrastructure to track royalties on Artist's Resale Rights and to make the visual art industry a more liquid and transparent market.
Since then, we have assembled a team of ninjas from a very diverse background. Together, we want to tip the scale and reduce the inequality of opportunities.

Our company built a proprietary recommender system to automate the parsing and bundling of a network of independent property appraisers in the domain of fine art and collectibles. The quality of the recommender output depends on data quality and growing the number of dimensions on which to run the recommender. We would like to collaborate with students in researching appraiser profiles and data entry in our database. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our database structure. Transferring data into our databases efficiently. Verifying the accuracy of the data in our databases and making relevant updates. Organizing and retrieving data as requested. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Providing assistance in establishing additional parameters to build better appraisal profiles for the recommender.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION/DESCRIPTION DU PROJET: authentic.art is a service created for emerging visual artists and the galleries promoting them. The idea came from the realization that underrepresented groups tend to experience commercial success later in their career, which results in these individuals barely making a living from their art for almost two decades. Once they become more successful, their whole body of work appreciates in value, but they do not benefit from this. This is why authentic.art is putting in place an infrastructure enabling lifelong royalties for artists via traceability provided by the power of blockchain, machine learning and smart contracts. By making the playing field fairer, the whole arts ecosystem will benefit. As we prepare to launch our closed beta, we are looking for motivated individuals to help plan the go-to-market strategy for specific verticals that will become our first customers. authentic.art est un service créé pour les artistes d'arts visuels émergents et pour les galeries en faisant la promotion.
