PROJECT DESCRIPTION/DESCRIPTION DU PROJET:

authentic.art is a service created for emerging visual artists and the galleries promoting them. The idea came from the realization that underrepresented groups tend to experience commercial success later in their career, which results in these individuals barely making a living from their art for almost two decades. Once they become more successful, their whole body of work appreciates in value, but they do not benefit from this. This is why authentic.art is putting in place an infrastructure enabling lifelong royalties for artists via traceability provided by the power of blockchain, machine learning and smart contracts. By making the playing field fairer, the whole arts ecosystem will benefit. As we prepare to launch our closed beta, we are looking for motivated individuals to help plan the go-to-market strategy for specific verticals that will become our first customers.

authentic.art est un service créé pour les artistes d'arts visuels émergents et pour les galeries en faisant la promotion. L'idée est venue de la réalisation que les groupes sous-representés tendent à obtenir de la reconnaissance commerciale plus tard dans leur carrière, ce qui a pour résultat que ces individus peuvent à peine vivre de leur art pendant des périodes allant jusqu'à deux décennies. Lorsque ces artistes deviennent plus reconnus, l'ensemble de leurs oeuvres augmente en valeur, mais l'artiste n'en bénéficie pas monétairement. C'est pourquoi authentic.art bâtie une infrastructure permettant l'exercice de droits de redevances durant toute la vie de l'artiste, grâce à la puissance de la blockchain, le machine learning et les contrats intelligents. En égalisant les opportunités pour tous les artistes, tout l'écosystème artistique en bénéficiera. Nous sommes en préparation de notre lancement, et nous recherchons des individus motivés pour aider avec la stratégie de mise-en-marché pour nos verticales prioritaires.

  • Research the key markets to obtain information that will be used in developing the go-to-market strategy
  • Analyse and discuss key findings and how they could impact the go-to-market strategy
  • Prepare a presentation with the team with the findings of the market research and a strategy to segment the target customers for the marketing and sales outreach
  • Provide recommendation on an ESG policies that can be implemented by authentic.art

Mentorship

We will spend a minimum of 1 hour each week to update the team and plan the work ahead.

We will organize 1-on-1 with the 4 founders to offer career and academic mentoring. The founders team is composed of a professional visual artists with 20 years of experience; an investment professional with years of startup experience; a PhD in neuroscience with an expertise in machine learning computer vision; and our chief technology officer, which has a career experience spanning professional soccer to working in IT for one of the largest investment fund in the country.
