Too many good ideas, and not enough hands or expertise in the patient-oriented research team with a focus on caring with older adults, their close ones, and health care staff within the long-term care (LTC) setting. BetterLTC Electronic Data Collection Form Pilot Project

The main goal for the project is to pilot a new electronic data collection form for the comprehensive geriatric assessment within a special care home in Warman, Saskatchewan. The project aims to assess the feasibility, usability, and effectiveness of the new form in collecting data for the assessment of older adults within the care home setting. This will involve several different steps for the team, including: - Collaborating with the special care home in Warman, Saskatchewan to introduce the new electronic data collection form. - Supporting approximately 100 participants in completing the assessment using the new form. - Collecting feedback from participants and healthcare professionals on the usability and effectiveness of the new form. - Analyzing the data collected through the new form to assess its feasibility and potential for implementation in other care home settings.
