He dives into how guests built their careers in the entertainment world and what it takes to succeed in business and life.We are currently developing podcasts for clients to distribute to Audible, Spotify, etc., and will involve students in all aspects of the creative process.Students will be provided the raw audio files of the host and guest's side of the conversation. These files will need to be edited to remove unnecessary noise, flow of conversation, and enhance heightened listener engagement. Musical bed tracks will be provided along with intro's and outro's for each episode. Students will receive clear instruction on the podcast format and how to execute the work. Edited files will need to be converted into mastered tracks for upload to the podcast distribution network. Each episodes is up to an hour in length.Besides editing, the student will be required to write blog posts and notes to go with each episode.There is a lot of room for creativity and input. There will be the opportunity to write for some projects for students interested in writing.Primary tasks include:liaise with/manage writersschedule blog posts for publicationensure all copy is fully proofed and edited before publicationensure all tags, metadata, and descriptive blurbs (short and long) are associated with the postensure there are approved graphics for each postoptimize assets (images/video/audio files) for each channel/platform where written content will be publishedcoordinate written content (and associated assets such as images/video/audio) between all the channels/platforms (e.g. blog, Medium, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook etc.)edit/optimize content/tags/links for each piece of written content depending on the channel/platformmanage text for press releasesmanage text for one-sheetsmanage text for book jacket blurbsmanage and distribute written communications materials as needed to Digital Asset Manager marketing and design teams so that everyone has the approved versions of allThe student will report directly to our senior editor and have access to all team members and resources.If you like the sound of our culture and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you.A student or team with excellent writing skills and a keen interest in personal development and book publishing would be a great fit.Editing skills and publishing knowledge is a plus.
