Marketing Strategy and Decision Making
We would want students to focus on the barriers to entry into the following provincial markets:1. British Columbia2. Saskatchewan3. Winnipeg4. Quebec5. Nova Scotia6. Newfoundland7. Prince Edward IslandWe would want a full external market analysis of the current student insurance industry landscape. The Student Teams will make a presentation describing their recommendations and decisions based on their analysis, detailing their insights into your company and industry as a whole. They'll provide actionable suggestions to address the issue or challenge that you provided.
Service Provider Analysis & Consultancy
In this project we would like students to focus on the the service levels from three different levels, direct consumer satisfaction (the student), B2B customer satisfaction (the client, student association/union/federation etc), Institution level (College/University administration). Each group of student-consultants will spend +100 hours working on your organization. At the end of which, each group will showcase their servicescape recommendations to you in a 15-minute presentation, which will be accompanied by a +10-page document detailing their research and reasonings.
Strategic Marketing Plan
We would want students to focus on the barriers to entry into the BC market for student insurance. Identify competitors and conduct and analysis regarding service, product and value offerings and where WeSpeakStudent ranks. Our goal as a company is to break in to the BC market within the next 2-5 years which will allow us to open a BC office and hire local employees. After defining the scope of the project (options above), the students will create a +10-page document outlining your strategic marketing plan, which will be accompanied by samples of marketing materials that you can implement immediately.
