My interest in human kinetics and functional muscle movement began with Kinesiology studies at Simon Fraser University (SFU). In 2004, I graduated from Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy completing a 3000hr program and am a member of the College of Massage Therapists of BC and the Canadian Massage & Manual Therapists Association. Since becoming a Registered Massage Therapist, I have focused my post-graduate training and clinical practice around Myofascial Release and Visceral Manipulation techniques and am committed to providing patients with individualized treatments to discover and resolve the underlying reasons why they may have pain and dysfunction in their bodies.
As a female entrepreneur my goal is to be an industry leader and support other women in business. Community, education and integrity are the core values that help me to achieve this. I enjoy collaborating with others and learning from them.

Video Creation
Our organization is passionate about promoting women"s health and empowering our patients through education. We ββwant to increase awareness about the impact scar tissue can have on the body and the benefits of scar therapy.We would like to collaborate with students to create video content for an online course and marketing.This will involve several different steps for the students, including:Familiarizing themselves with the course topic - How scar tissue impacts the body and the benefits of scar release for surgical scars in particular caesarean scars.Recording a series of short videos on location - being responsible for lighting and sound set up.Bonus steps in the process would also include:Suggesting shot set ups and approaches to filmingPresenting the video Recommending ideas for future course/marketing videos.
Peri Natal Health Campaign Plan
Our organization wants to further our efforts to increase awareness about peri natal health and available therapies. We would like to work with students to develop a campaign that successfully raises awareness and changes behaviour around conception, pregnancy and delivery and postpartum care in women age 25-45. In collaboration with key contacts at our organization, students will design and carry out a campaign strategy around perinatal health. Identify local groups/businesses which this campaign will target.Identify ideal outcomes and KPIs.Include the latest and most accurate data and information. Design leaflets, posters, and/or brochures to be used in marketing.
Digital Content Creation
We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. Spectrum Massage Therapy & Acupuncture is a small multidisciplinary clinic ins SW Calgary, AB. Our mission is helping women find solutions to their complex health questions, daily movement challenges and managing their pain through all stages of life. We support women using hands-on approach to provide client centred care.
