Succession Planning - Founder Exit Strategy
The main goal of this project is to develop a clear plan and guide for the CEO transition and exit strategy in the organization. The objective is to ensure a smooth and successful transition of leadership when the specific organizational condition and revenue threshold is reached. (Most founders don’t have an exit plan nor come up with one until they actually need it. We've been building with an intent to exit while keeping majority of the ownership. But based on the direction of our 3 year strategic roadmap, it'd be useful to have an actual execution plan for this portion). We're flexible on the timeline of this project. But our ideal start date for this project is Q1 of 2024.

International expansion - Social Impact Project
WHO: Grey-box is social innovation startup that is working on providing free wifi access to educational content in areas where internet and electricity access is problematic.WHY: 50% of the world lives offline – they haven’t connected to the internet in the last 3 months. In Africa, the average cost for 1GB of data is 7% of the average monthly salary. Even in North America, 50% of rural Canada does not have access to the minimum speed for Internet. We believe that this is a solvable problem.HOW: In a nutshell, our IT worked on a technical solution for connectivity issues in remote areas based on customer interviews. We plan to deploy sales effort in 1) Nord America (with a focus on northern regions and rural areas), 2) Latin America (with local NGOs), and 3) West Africa (with local NGOs). There is already a draft for a marketing strategy that can be used as a base. The scope of the project is to pick one region (out of three) and update the business plan, formalize go to market strategy that will include a list of important stakeholders to contact, key elements in the sales pitch, and communication line. Weekly touchpoints can be made with the CEO as well as with the marketing and IT teams.Grey-box is a nonprofit structured under the principle of mobile-first and remote-first. Diversity is not only encouraged, it is an integral part of the strength of the team and its projects

Specifically, we aim to achieve the following objectives:Boost Brand Visibility: Enhance the visibility of our center within the target market to ensure that it is a well-known and recognized entity in the community.Increase Enrollment or Participation: Drive an increase in the number of individuals enrolling in our programs, signing up for our services, or engaging with our center in various capacities.Generate Leads: Attract a steady flow of potential clients or participants interested in our offerings, thereby expanding our client or user base.Enhance Online Presence: Strengthen our online presence through improved website traffic, social media engagement, and online reviews to ensure a prominent digital footprint.Strengthen Brand Reputation: Build a positive reputation for our center by providing high-quality content, services, and experiences to our audience.Measure and Optimize: Implement a system to measure the success of our marketing efforts through key performance indicators (KPIs) and continually optimize our strategies based on data-driven insights.Foster Community Engagement: Encourage active participation and engagement from the local community, fostering a sense of community around our center.Promote Special Events or Initiatives: Use marketing strategies to promote any special events, workshops, or initiatives that our center may host throughout the year.
