What is the main goal for this project?

In this project, students will engage in comprehensive market research and content development for an upcoming Software as a Service (SaaS) solution. The goal is to identify and analyze target customers, examine competitor websites, and create compelling, fresh content. This content will form the foundation for various digital platforms including the company website, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.


This project not only provides practical experience in market research and content creation but also offers exposure to the dynamic world of digital marketing in the SaaS industry.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?
  1. Target Customer Research: Identify and analyze the potential customer base for the SaaS solution. This includes understanding their needs, challenges, and preferences.
  2. Competitor Analysis: Research and document key competitors in the SaaS market. Analyze their website content, marketing strategies, and customer engagement tactics.
  3. Content Creation: Develop original, engaging, and relevant content tailored for different digital platforms. This should include blog posts, social media posts, infographics, and short video scripts.
  4. Platform-Specific Strategies: Formulate unique strategies for content distribution on different platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) considering the audience and nature of each platform.

Deliverables:

  1. Target Customer Profile Report: A detailed report on the target customers including demographics, preferences, and behaviors.
  2. Competitor Analysis Report: A comprehensive analysis of competitor websites and their content strategies.
  3. Content Portfolio: A portfolio of ready-to-publish content including articles, social media posts, and multimedia materials.
  4. Content Strategy Plan: A documented strategy outlining how the content will be adapted and distributed across different digital platforms
