Details

Ridan 3D Industries Inc. is seeking to innovate in the realm of computer-aided design (CAD) by developing a web-based 3D CAD tooling prototype. The goal of this project is to create a functional prototype that demonstrates the feasibility of using web technologies to perform basic 3D CAD operations. This project will allow learners to apply their knowledge of web development, 3D graphics, and user interface design to create an intuitive and efficient tool. The challenge lies in integrating 3D rendering capabilities within a web environment, ensuring that the tool is both responsive and user-friendly. The project will focus on creating a streamlined interface that allows users to perform essential CAD functions such as drawing, modifying, and viewing 3D models. By the end of the project, learners will have a deeper understanding of the intersection between web technologies and 3D modeling.

Deliverables

The project deliverables will include a functional web-based 3D CAD tooling prototype that demonstrates basic CAD operations. Additionally, the team will provide a user manual detailing the tool's features and usage instructions. A presentation showcasing the prototype's capabilities and the development process will also be delivered. The final deliverables will be:

- A working prototype of the web-based 3D CAD tool.

- A comprehensive user manual.

- A presentation summarizing the project outcomes and development insights.
