enthusiasm software testing usability testing acceptance testing ad hoc testing user acceptance testing (uat) quality assurance software as a service (saas) user interface (ui) usabilityTECHNATION is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated student interns to join our team and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on two exciting Software as a service (SAAS) tools being developed by our vendor/partner. This unique opportunity provides learners with little/no prior experience to gain practical knowledge and hands-on exposure to software testing and quality assurance processes specific to these two projects. You will work closely with our experienced team members to contribute to the testing efforts, ensuring the quality, functionality, and usability of these tools.
Duration: 2 weeks starting October, 2023 (tentative)
- Collaborate with the team to understand the objectives and requirements of the SAAS tools
- Participate in usability testing, reviewing specifications, functional designs, and user interface designs viz-a-viz these requirements
- Help identify and document software defects and issues encountered during testing using a tracking system and aid in maintaining/updating test documentation
- Conduct ad-hoc testing to uncover potential issues or inconsistencies unique to each project
- Provide clear and concise feedback on all findings to the UAT team (regarding defects, usability issues, and areas for improvement)
- Attend test status meetings and provide updates on the progress and results of testing efforts related to both projects
- Access to all environments and/or tools required to complete this project will be provided
- Learners will also have direct access to our senior staff members who will provide guidance and direction where needed
