About the Foundation:


For over three decades, the Rick Hansen Foundation team has been raising awareness, changing attitudes, and breaking down barriers for people with disabilities with our programs and initiatives. With each of these programs and initiatives, we’re working to create an accessible and inclusive world where people with disabilities can live to their full potential.

The Rick Hansen Foundation is seeking support in our School Program, with digital records management.


Summary:


Learners will be tasked with uploading PDF files into SharePoint, making sure they are named and filed correctly, and updating records in Salesforce. This project provides an opportunity for students to apply their knowledge of digital file management and cloud-based platforms, reinforcing their understanding of data organization and administrative processes, and learn about the important work of the School Program. The goal is to create a streamlined workflow that ensures all documents are easily accessible and accurately recorded, ultimately supporting the Foundation's efficiency.


  • Upload PDF files into SharePoint.
  • Update records in Salesforce to reflect the uploaded documents.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy in data entry.
  • Display effective time management skills
  • Maintain confidentiality of documents
Deliverables

The project deliverables will include an updated SharePoint library with all relevant PDF files uploaded and organized. Additionally, Salesforce records will be accurately updated to reflect these changes. These documents are valuable resources for the Foundation's School Program.

The project will also collaborate with the School Program team, and support with projects as needed.
