What is the main goal for this project?

Vault Maritime, an innovator in the marine industry, specializes in designing and manufacturing structures certified for marine environments. These structures are integral for housing cutting-edge sustainable technologies such as Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Fuel Cells, and alternative fuels. Vault's expertise extends to creating shore-side structures for marine shore power and vessel charging solutions. These structures are not just technologically advanced but also play a pivotal role in the maritime industry's decarbonization efforts. Despite the vital role these structures play in housing and protecting key technologies, they often remain secondary in consideration. Vault Maritime, with its deep expertise and industry knowledge, is uniquely positioned as one of the few companies dedicated to this niche within the marine sector. The primary objective of Vault Maritime is to cement its position as the leading brand in the market for both onboard and onshore marine structures.


The project's challenge lies in navigating the complex landscape of the global commercial marine market, characterized by a small yet influential group of decision-makers. Vault Maritime aims to achieve global recognition and brand leadership through strategic clarification of product lines, company messaging, and marketing approaches.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

1. Development of succinct and impactful messaging strategies for Vault Maritime's onboard and onshore structural solutions.

2. Formulation of clear communication strategies for Vault’s supporting services, encompassing design engineering, basic and advanced outfitting, equipment installation, and commissioning.

3. Creation of a comprehensive marketing and execution strategy focusing on enhancing brand awareness in the market and targeted product promotion.

How will you support learners in completing the project?
  1. Learners will have a kick-off meeting with the founders to understand the project's opportunity, challenges and vision.
  2. Learners will have group and one-on-one access to the founder and marketing manager as needed or scheduled.
  3. Learners will have the chance to pitch their ideas to global corporations such as ABB and international leading naval architecture firms to gain real market feedback.
