- What is the main goal for this project?

Planeterra provides online training modules as part of the Global Community Tourism network for community tourism organizations around the world to develop and manage their tourism experiences. We would like to collaborate with students to examine our current learning hub and recommend areas for innovation, expansion and overall improved service delivery.
- What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Tasks may include:
- Familiarizing themselves with our learning modules, their objectives and their approach
- Conducting a review of the competitive landscape of tourism learning hubs
- Analyzing data from our current learning hub analytics
- Identifying topics for new potential training modules such as those related to sustainability, social impact, DEIA, climate & biodiversity, marketing, business management, and more - all through the lens of community tourism
- Reviewing the opportunities for innovation that exist with Planeterra’s learning hub platform Teachable that could be leveraged for an improved learning experience.
- Creating content to promote Planeterra’s learning hub and course content to communities
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI in course creation and course translation

- Reviewing and improving the format of current learning resources

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:
- A walkthrough / tutorial of our current training programs
- Our training objectives, templates, and implementations
- Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter
