- What is the main goal for this project?

The main goal of this project is to automate many of Jobby's processes, especially their email processes which currently require a lot of manpower. The Automation Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing email marketing campaigns to drive engagement, nurture leads, and optimize conversion rates. They will also be responsible for automating more basic tasks such as as emailing clients to confirm basic details to set up meetings with them, our communication process between our development team and our customer service representatives, and more.

The tasks learners need to complete to achieve the project goal include:

- Automating emailing clients to confirm basic details to set up meetings with them.
- Automating the communication process between our development team and our customer service representatives.
- Automating other processes as needed.
Bonus tasks would include:
- Testing the automated processes and making improvements based on additional data.
Final deliverables should include:
- A written report explaining the automated processes and outcomes.

The tasks learners need to complete to achieve the project goal include:

- How will you support learners in completing the project?

Learners will work closely with the managers in charge of the current processes (the one in charge of our various emailing processes will be their direct supervisor) and who will supervise their work, be available for questions, and inform them of the largest bottlenecks that automation could solve across the organization. They will instruct them on how our processes currently work, what we've tried in the past for automation and why it did or didn't work, and they will have weekly or bi-weekly meetings to gain feedback on their overall work. The manager in charge of this project will review all their suggestions and give them permission to implement their automation suggestions. Regular communication will also be conducted via slack.

Skills needed to successfully complete the project include:
- Email marketing and automation.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and HTML.
- Understanding of web development and database management.
- Understanding of customer service processes.
- Ability to analyze data and make decisions based on the data.
Students will be expected to research and learn more about the above as the project goes along.
