Causeway Digital is a digital marketing consulting agency based in Lafayette, CO, that works with a variety of nonprofits and small businesses throughout Colorado. Potential Colorado clients include:
- Colorado CarShare - carshare nonprofit
- Recycle Colorado - recycling nonprofit
- Wild Nosh Pets - sustainable pet treats
- The Happy Beast - retail pet food store
- Coal Creek Meals on Wheels - food assistance nonprofit
- Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) - food and housing assistance nonprofit
- Downtown Boulder Partnership - Boulder tourism nonprofit
- Gray Muzzle Society - animal rescue
- Enviro Pet Waste Network (EPWN) - pet waste composting nonprofit
- Vail Mountain Rescue Group - search and rescue nonprofit
- Kindness Ranch - animal rescue (Wyoming, not Colorado)
Many of our clients struggle with video production and could significantly benefit from high-quality "About Us" or "Overview" video content, which can be used on social media and within digital ads. This project directly addresses that need by allowing us to develop dynamic video assets.
Typical client goals for this type of video creation project are to:
- Elevate Our Brand Story: Create compelling visual narratives that communicate a client's unique value proposition and our commitment their mission.
- Enhance Our Marketing Assets: Develop versatile, high-quality video content that can be utilized across a client's website, social media channels, and digital advertising campaigns to attract new clients and engage existing audiences.
- Highlight Our Impact: Potentially feature case studies, testimonials, or interviews that demonstrate tangible results our clients achieve.
- Integrate AI Competencies: Leverage AI visualization and planning skills to develop an innovative and effective video concept.
We are looking for video content that is not only visually appealing and technically sound, but also effectively communicates our client's message and aligns with their overall marketing strategy.
By the end of this project, we hope to receive a comprehensive video package that meets professional standards and helps our clients achieve their marketing objectives. The key deliverables could include:
- Core Professional Video (~5 minutes): A polished, high-quality video produced in a common video format (e.g., MP4), ready for immediate use on our website or for longer-form storytelling. This video will align with client brand guidelines and strategic goals, showcasing our services or client impact.
- Shorter Edited Versions: To maximize utility across various digital platforms, having shorter edits of the core video is extremely helpful, including 15-second, 30-second, and 60-second versions.
- Multiple Crop Sizes: For optimal performance across different digital and social placements, we also require the primary video and its shorter edits to be provided in horizontal/landscape, vertical/portrait, and square crop sizes.
- AI-Assisted Storyboard: A detailed visual and narrative planning document (PDF or slideshow format) developed with the assistance of AI tools for visualization, outlining the video's flow, key scenes, and messaging.
- Comprehensive Production Plan: A document (Word doc or PDF) clearly outlining the project objectives, a detailed shoot schedule, and the responsibilities of the student team throughout the production process.
- Reflection and Peer Review Documentation: While primarily for the students' academic purposes, this can also provide us with insights into the team's collaborative process and learning outcomes.
