The goal of the internship with CLICK is to successfully launch The Brooke Simone Podcast, a platform dedicated to insightful conversations with authors, entrepreneurs, and professors about self-development, personal branding, and business growth. This podcast aims to expand CLICK's community reach, foster meaningful discussions, and establish a strong digital presence through high-quality production and strategic marketing.


Through this internship, four talented students will contribute their skills in video/audio editing, social media content creation, content writing, and visual/UX design to develop, brand, and promote the podcast. The project will result in the completion of four professionally edited podcast episodes, engaging social media content, a branded landing page, and a structured workflow guide for future podcast production.

Deliverables

Role #1 - Video & Audio Editor 


About the Role: CLICK Digital Empowerment Inc. is looking for a Podcast Video & Audio Editor Intern to assist in editing and distributing four podcast episodes. This role is ideal for students interested in media production, content creation, and digital storytelling. 


Time Commitment: 60 Hours (February 27 - March 31, 2025) 


  • 40 hours – Editing four podcast episodes + thumbnails (10 hours per episode) 
  • 10 hours – Meetings and communication 
  • 10 hours – Creating a step-by-step instructional video on podcast editing 


Responsibilities: 


Edit Podcast Episodes + Thumbnails (4 Total) 

  1. Enhance audio quality (noise reduction, levelling, transitions) 
  2. Add captions, transitions, and minor visual effects 
  3. Export final versions in appropriate formats (.mp4 for video, .mp3 for audio) 

Upload Podcast Episodes (4 Total) 

  1. Upload each episode to the designated software for podcast distribution (Ex. Buzzsprout which uploads podcasts to YouTube and Spotify) 
  2. Optimize metadata (titles, descriptions, tags) for SEO 
  3. Troubleshoot any technical issues during publishing 

Create an Instructional Video & Guide 

  1. A detailed video tutorial on how to edit a podcast, including best practices and tools 
  2. A written step-by-step guide summarizing the workflow 

Meetings & Communication 

  1. Participate in regular check-ins to discuss progress and receive feedback 
  2. Provide recommendations for improving podcast production efficiency

Role #2 - Social Media Video Editor 


About the Role: CLICK Digital Empowerment Inc. is seeking a Social Media Video Editor to create engaging reels for each podcast episode. This role is ideal for students with strong video editing skills and a passion for social media content creation. 


Time Commitment: 60 Hours (February 27 - March 31, 2025) 


  • 40 hours – Editing four social media reels + thumbnails (10 hours per reel) 
  • 10 hours – Meetings, communication, and revisions 
  • 10 hours – Creating a step-by-step instructional video on reel editing 


Responsibilities: 


Create Social Media Reels + Thumbnails (4 Total) 

  1. Edit 10-60 second highlight reels from each podcast episode 
  2. Add eye-catching subtitles and visual elements to enhance engagement 
  3. Optimize video format for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn Video, and YouTube Shorts 

Develop an Instructional Video & Guide 

  1. A detailed tutorial on the workflow and techniques used in reel editing 
  2. A written step-by-step guide for future interns and business owners 

Meetings & Communication 

  1. Participate in regular check-ins to discuss progress and receive feedback 
  2. Revise content based on feedback to ensure high-quality production

Role #3 - Content & Script Writer 


About the Role: CLICK Digital Empowerment Inc. is looking for a Content & Script Writer to craft engaging scripts and copy for our podcast. This role is perfect for students with strong writing skills and a passion for storytelling and digital content creation. 


Time Commitment: 60 Hours (February 27 - March 31, 2025) 


  • 30 hours – Writing scripts, captions, and YouTube descriptions 
  • 20 hours – Revising content and testing different copywriting styles 
  • 10 hours – Meetings, communication, and finalizing the work instruction document 


Responsibilities: 


Social Media Captions & YouTube Descriptions 

  1. Write compelling captions for all social media posts related to the podcast (4 total, one per episode). 
  2. Draft YouTube descriptions optimized for search (4 total, one per episode). 

Podcast Landing Page Development 

  1. Write user friendly website content for the Visual & UX Designer to publish on the podcasts landing page 

Podcast Scripts & Branding 

  1. Develop intro and outro scripts to establish a strong brand presence. 
  2. Write a 1-minute promotional script for each episode, highlighting CLICK Digital Empowerment’s services. 

Instructional Guide Development 

  1. Create a detailed work instruction document on writing effective podcast captions, YouTube descriptions, and promotional scripts. 

Meetings & Communication 

  1. Participate in regular check-ins to discuss progress and receive feedback. 
  2. Revise content based on feedback to ensure consistency and quality.

Role #4 - Visual & UX Designer 


About the Role: CLICK Digital Empowerment Inc. is looking for a Podcast Branding & Website Intern to design a podcast landing page and create branding assets for our podcast. This role is ideal for students interested in web design, branding, and digital content creation, providing an opportunity to develop real-world marketing and design experience. 


Time Commitment: 60 Hours (February 27 - March 31, 2025) 


  • 30 hours – Designing and drafting the podcast landing page, including layout, user experience, and content integration. 
  • 20 hours – Creating branding templates and social media assets for the podcast. 
  • 10 hours – Meetings, communication, and finalizing the work instruction document. 


Responsibilities: 


Podcast Landing Page Development 

  1. Design a dedicated podcast landing page for CLICK 
  2. Ensure a user-friendly layout and engaging design that reflects the podcast’s branding. 
  3. Integrate content provided by the Content & Script Writer, including episode descriptions, guest bios, and key takeaways. 
  4. Select or create relevant images and graphics to enhance the page’s appeal. 
  5. Include clear calls to action (e.g., “Subscribe Now,” “Listen on Spotify/Apple Podcasts”). 

Branding & Visual Assets 

  1. Design at least three reusable branding templates for social media, such as: Quote cards from the podcast, Guest introduction graphics, Episode highlight visuals. 
  2. Ensure designs are adaptable for multiple platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.). 
  3. Create a colour scheme and font guide for consistent podcast branding. 

Social Media Content Creation 

  1. Develop four unique social media posts (one per episode) to promote the podcast’s first four releases. 
  2. Posts can include episode teasers, guest features, or behind-the-scenes content. 

Instructional Guide Development 

  1. Document a work instruction guide detailing best practices for designing podcast-related branding and landing pages. 
  2. Include guidelines on maintaining brand consistency for future episodes. 

Meetings & Communication
