What is the main goal for this project?

Project Goal:

To develop a comprehensive digital marketing and social media strategy for Nextpeer's pre-launch phase, building brand awareness, attracting target audiences, and generating excitement for the upcoming platform launch.


Project Context:

Nextpeer is a mental health support platform currently in the pre-launch phase. We are seeking learners to develop a strategic roadmap for our digital marketing and social media presence, laying the groundwork for a successful launch and future growth.


Project Activities:


Target Audience Analysis:

  • Research and define Nextpeer's ideal user personas, considering demographics, challenges, and preferred communication channels.
  • Analyze competitor messaging and target audiences to identify potential differentiation opportunities.


Social Media Platform Selection:

  • Evaluate relevant social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, Facebook) based on user demographics, content formats, and potential engagement levels.
  • Recommend optimal platforms for reaching the target audience and achieving marketing objectives.


Content Strategy Development:

  • Define overarching content themes and messaging aligned with Nextpeer's brand values and target audience needs.
  • Develop engaging content formats (e.g., infographics, short videos, user stories) to raise awareness and generate interest.
  • Create a pre-launch content calendar outlining publishing frequency and platform distribution strategies.


Community Building Activities

  • Recommend strategies for cultivating online communities on chosen platforms before launch.
  • Propose tactics for encouraging user interaction, building anticipation, and collecting valuable pre-launch feedback.


Pre-Launch Measurement & Tracking

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of pre-launch marketing and social media activities.
  • Recommend tools and strategies for monitoring engagement, reach, and website traffic metrics.
  • Provide regular progress reports with data-driven insights and recommendations for improvement.


What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Deliverables:

  • Comprehensive Digital Marketing & Social Media Strategy Report: A detailed document outlining target audience analysis, platform selection, content strategy, community building activities, (optional) paid advertising exploration, measurement plan, and budget recommendations.
  • Engaging Presentation: A 10-minute presentation summarizing key findings, proposed strategies, and anticipated impact for the Nextpeer team.
