The aim of the course is to give them the opportunity to use the theory and techniques they have learnt in their regular courses in a significant programming development. Suitable tasks would include the development of apps for iPhone or Android although we are also interested to look at other programming projects. Students are based at RMIT in Melbourne and would like to work online with a company to produce a solution.

Financial Counselling Placements

Throughout their studies, students from RMIT have learned about how to provide information, support and advocacy to assist people in financial difficulty within a social justice framework. Students have learned from experienced financial counsellors, therapeutic counsellors, social workers and community lawyers who are experts in their fields, and will be able to apply this knowledge in a placement with your organization. In this placements, students will build upon the skills and knowledge required to work as a qualified financial counsellor within community services and community legal organisations supporting people in need. Through this experience, students will be able to fortify the foundation needed in financial counsellors in the areas of law and policy including consumer credit law, debt enforcement practices, the bankruptcy regime, industry hardship policies and government concession frameworks.Students are required to undertake their placement for 220 hours.

Virtual Internship in Tourism & Hospitality Management

Most students take part in internships at the end of their study program at RMIT Vietnam which requires full-time mode (40 hours/ week) for the minimum of 12 working weeks (480 hours) of placement from October 2021 to January 2022. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, student placements will only occur virtually.
