What if we spent a little less here and there to empower another person directly?The SaveForward app helps you spend less on guilty purchases and puts a portion of the savings toward empowering someone else. When you avoid a purchase, tap it in the app to immediately put the money away so you can't spend it. When you've hit your goal, you can choose someone living in an underbanked region of the world to empower with a life-changing loan. Borrowers use the funds to start a business or go to school, and create a better future for themselves. When the loan is repaid, you can re-lend it or add it to your own savings.Not an impulse spender? Set a monthly amount to contribute instead. Gone over budget this month? No problem! You can lower or cancel your contribution anytime.The ProjectThe primary focus for the student will be: Implement end-to-end mobile and backend platforms using React Native and Node JS.Our goal at the end of this experience is:For the students to create a fully functioning application. These loans empower underbanked individuals to start a business, expand their farm, or go to school, and ultimately lift themselves out of poverty.
