AI Based knowledge transformation for videogame quests
We wish to collaborate with students on an applied research project developing a proof of concept prototype for using AI and NLP techniques to procedurally generate videogame quest content from a knowledge base. Students should be prepared to: identify and test a variety of webapis and local sdks for language translation, text synthesis and NLP Develop a solution for generating dialog and narratives that meet learning and gameplay objectives of a pre-existing videogame story integrating software solutions into an existing game project for testing and proof of concept Generate a in-game content that meets learning objectives or other constraints Create a report that provides an in-depth overview into the solution. A few areas of specific interest for us include: web based language tools like ChatGDP or other AI solutions NLP technologies text translation technologies deep fake machine learning algorithms

We wish to collaborate with students on an applied research project developing a proof of concept prototype for offline language translation of recorded video using a single actor Students should be prepared to: identify and test a variety of webapis and local sdks for language translation, voice cloning and deep fake generation from video Develop a solution for extracting audio from video, and translating it to user selected languages Cloning the voice from a video with a single person speaking Generate a deep fake video given text or audio file as input Create a report that provides an in-depth overview into the solution. RoomEase: Web-Based Room Booking Portal
Arbelos Interactive seeks to develop RoomEase, a user-friendly web-based portal for booking rooms. The current manual booking process is inefficient and prone to errors, leading to double bookings and lost revenue. RoomEase aims to streamline this process by integrating a calendar API for real-time availability updates and a billing system for seamless transactions. The project will allow learners to apply their web development skills, focusing on front-end and back-end integration, user interface design, and API utilization. The goal is to create a reliable, efficient, and intuitive platform that simplifies room management for both users and administrators. Key tasks include designing the user interface, implementing the calendar API, and developing a secure billing system.
