We wish to collaborate with students on an applied research project developing a proof of concept prototype for offline language translation of recorded video using a single actor

Students should be prepared to:

  • identify and test a variety of webapis and local sdks for language translation, voice cloning and deep fake generation from video
  • Develop a solution for extracting audio from video, and translating it to user selected languages
  • Cloning the voice from a video with a single person speaking
  • Generate a deep fake video given text or audio file as input
  • Create a report that provides an in-depth overview into the solution.
