May 2024 - Task Manager AI Section 1 - Website Development

Our company connects fans to artists, artists to venues and all of them to vendors. We are building an entire music community and need this to be one of many parts of a whole page and community site. Part of the goal is to create an all encompassing site. This project is one section of the AI pieces that we need for this site. We will be working with students to develop an AI section that can act like an artist manager and advertising manager for musical artists. This will involve several different steps for students, including:Researching different methods of scraping data for how to solve artists needsUnderstanding all the issues that new artists face as they begin their journey into the music industryHelp the artists learn several sections of what they need to know to become successfulImplement ways for artists to accomplish these tasks even while they have limited knowledge or experienceCreate an AI that is part teacher, part manager, part advertising expert. Conducting research to define the best, fastest, and least resource hungry way to accomplish these tasks we do NOT have 2 years to complete this task we have months.Integrate the Python AI section into the website being builtProviding training on, updating of, and maintaining the website.Bonus steps in the process would also include:Testing prototypes with customers and refining ideas with feedback.

May2024 - Project Manager

We are looking for students to play a role as the student team’s project manager. A student in this position will understand the logistical aspects of the a Team Project Manager position. This position is very key in our group and must be looked at seriously by all members that apply, We are willing to look at an entire team and would prefer at least 2-3 members to spread out the duties more easily, as we do have a project development that literally runs 24/7. Students in this position will overlook the team’s project through a logistical lensStudents will help facilitate the team events, meetings and individual projects.The student will play a key role in helping the CEO create a more efficient work process.The student should be able to create the following itemsProject Overview The student needs to connect with the CEO and Team leads to get an overview of the entire project from each member's perspective and using all the information given write a detailed overview that looks at the project from a global perspectiveProject Schedule The student needs to connect will all members of the various teams to understand where each section of the project is in regards to completion and issues. With the information gathered from the communication, the Project Manager needs to create a realistic Project ScheduleIndividual Schedule of MVPs The student needs to connect with the teams of each MVP and communicate with them to define the current position of the MVPs and the issues each may be facing and create a realistic schedule to complete each MVPProject Manager Onboarding Documentation The student needs to connect with all memmbers of all teams to go through how the onboarding process went with them and gleam how the onboarding process could be better arranged and made easier for new members.As a Project manager all these clearly defined steps should already be known by a project manager, but are placed here simply for the benefit of the Riipen group to see how the student could complete each of these tasks if they had zero experience in project management, however I do not expect someone with zero past experience in leadership or management positions would do well in this project. Major Event / Business Needs Grant Writing

Our organization is interested in addressing the serious lack of support for the new and upcomming musical artists in the music industry. One thing we are looking at doing is running an event over the Easter Long weekend in Vancouver BC. We are going to be supporting new musicians and building an event to push Vancouver closer to a Music City. One thing that comes with large event planning is always the need for funding from multiple sources. We would like to collaborate with students to find and complete grant applications.This will involve several different steps for the students, including:Familiarizing themselves with our vision statement and a project we have defined.Developing a needs statement that characterizes the community problem and justifies the need for our project and funding.Identifying potential sponsors and funding opportunities that are a good fit for our organization and project.Improving the clarity and persuasiveness of our company's grant proposal writing.Bonus steps in the process would also include:Identifying new opportunities for community projects.

May2024 FRONT END Typescript, NEXT.JS, Tailwind CSS, web development

This project is a section of the front end of that site We will be working with students to develop a new website that is easy to maintain while providing an appealing interface for users. Our site basis will be Next.JS, Typescript, with Tailwind CSS, we also use React.JS, Prisma, and Next.AUTH. we have API Integrations, a 256bit blockchain based chat and python AI integration.This project will involve several different steps for students, including:Researching the current status of the development and understanding where the student and this project fits amist the development process.Completing ALL the onboarding reading and understanding the methods in place for progressing, and becoming a part of a team ALREADY in process Researching different site-building tools and their associated advantages / disadvantages.Using provided tools and management systems to complete tasks and maintain documentation for ALL of their work, failures or successes. Building a section of the website, with our assistance in providing the content.Providing documentation for others to be able to update and maintain the website.Bonus steps in the process would also include:Testing prototypes with customers and refining ideas with feedback.
