We are looking for assistance in finding and completing grant applications that support our mission and vision statement. At 5n2, our mission is to fight food insecurity in our communities by envisioning equitable access to food supports in marginalized communities. This project will include:Assist with defining a company-identified community problem and defining the scope of a corresponding project.Develop a needs statement that characterizes the community problem and justifies the need for our project and funding.Identify potential sponsors and funding opportunities that are a good fit for our organization.Improve the clarity and persuasiveness of our company's grant proposal writing.

Marketing and Administration

Main goal of the project:To support 5n2's mission of fighting food insecurity through marketing research, analysis and administrative support. This position will spearhead initiatives to develop and assist our current programs. We are seeking individuals who are detail-oriented, have strong communications skills and exemplify teamwork and professionalism.The primary focus for the student will be:Conduct a full competitive landscape assessment and identify opportunities and threats facing our brand; assess where and how to improve our brand's presence and differentiate from our competitors.Recommend changes to advertising and PR materialsIdentify the ideal target market.Evaluate our current customer base and make recommendations; review our prospect messaging, make improvement recommendations, and create new outreach content.Provide content suggestions and recommendations to increase search visibility.

Fundraising Strategy Plan

We want students to help us build a fundraising strategy plan to grow and engage our target market: large corporations willing to sponsors or help funding the organizations programs. We’d like to know how we can maximize use of different channels and get recommendations to improve our messaging.The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following:How do students currently perceive our brand and marketing, based on publicly available information about our company?What channels should we utilize for promotion, including ones we are not currently using?What budget is appropriate for advertising, given our goals?How could our messaging be updated to better explain our value proposition?

Newsletter Development and Publishing

We are looking for a student to help develop and distribute a newsletter that promotes our organizations' cause.This project will include:Creating a weekly newsletter with helpful information so readers feel inspiredCreating and soliciting materials to be published.Determining the features of a publication.Coordinating frequency of publication.Overseeing all operations of a publication relations

Digital Content Creator

As a non-profit organization, 5n2 relies on sponsorships, grants and community donations to sustain the several programs operating. In addition, spreading awareness about the hunger crisis and the 5n2 food assistive services operating, drives an even greater impact. Advocating for collective action and change is important to the vision of 5n2: creating equitable access to food supports in marginalized communities.We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the candidate has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.
