Intern for Social Media and Sales

What is the main goal for this project? The main goal overall is to optimize our social media platforms to reach our audience for in-home supports. We need to target through well thought content creation and content calendar organization. We want to improve our hiring ads, recruitment marketing and then also target our clients and up our sales through community partnerships/cross collaborations via our podcast and networks.  What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal? The tasks will include, social media content creation, branding, marketing strategy and expansion campaign for across Canada. The interns will also provide sales calls, B2B sales calls and create meetings for the owner and co-president. The interns will implement their strategies and communicate with admin staff, employees and potential clients.  Deliverables include: - Content Calendar, Social Media posts for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok and Twitter.  - Recruitment and Selection posters/ads  - Marketing tools such as brochures, pamphlets and comparison to competitors - Analytics Data from each platform  - marketing strategy & plan to implement  - Website clicks / Google SEO / Google Analytics  - Provide Customer Service regarding inquires from social media or emails - Create scripts for podcast guests How will you support learners in completing the project? We support the interns with training over zoom & phone conference. Our Human Resources team will on-board and orient the interns regarding our policies, procedures, internal information; Our team is available for any questions or further training if necessary. We welcome open thinking and ideas, our admin team will advise regarding team roles, delegate tasks and create organization for optimization during the project.  What skills or technologies will help learners to complete the project? Social media training, marketing, analytics, niche branding and knowledge of healthcare industry if possible.  - Website clicks / Google SEO / Google Analytics (Business Operations) - Provide Customer Service regarding inquires from social media or emails (Customer service) - Promote platforms by introducing community partnerships, setting up calls for the owner and co-president (Community Outreach) - Keeping in touch with Law firms, clinics, rehabilitation facilities, hospitals and community pillars to spread brand awareness and let them know about our services, promote us as a service provider (Communications)

Marketing Strategy Plan

We want students to help us build a marketing strategy plan to grow and engage our target market: Those with disabilities, seniors, insurance adjusters, Personal Injury Law firms. We’d like to know how we can maximize use of different channels and get recommendations to improve our messaging. The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following: How do students currently perceive our brand and marketing, based on publicly available information about our company? What channels should we utilize for promotion, including ones we are not currently using? What budget is appropriate for advertising, given our goals? How could our messaging be updated to better explain our value proposition?

COVID-19 Response PPE Project

Our company has pivoted business strategies to embrace the "new normal." As a healthcare company we provide services in the home such as personal care, daily assisted living and companionship, as you can imagine with the shift in standards, we are providing our staff with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to continue to provide outstanding care. As our team focuses on the daily tasks that come with administration, we are hoping to expand our horizons and broaden our capacity with the addition of PPE sales within the company. Our scheduling team has been trained to assist with the communication aspects: reaching out to suppliers/customers/businesses, updating our catalogues as needed and keeping our suppliers up to date with any incoming requests. We would like to assist our admin staff by alleviating the pressure of trying to balance the sales reports whilst keeping our books up to date for home care clients.

Our company requires some assistance is assessing our customer landscape outside of our current territory. We want to learn more about customer’s expectations and behaviours in suggested new regions. It is important for us to stay up to date on industry standards to ensure that we research new locations fully and completely before choosing to enter. We have some ideas of where we would like to go but we need to make sure that we consider all available options before making a decision. Our specific need is an outline of our industry’s expansion opportunities through a location analysis. This report should include an optimal location recommendation list. To consider: which markets align with our current one? Where are there buyers that we have yet to reach? What are the pros and cons to expanding our operations? What potential competitors exist in new locations? What legal protocol will need to be considered? We would like this to be partnered with some primary data collection; surveys and research into our present and future consumer to gather insights into buying behaviours and expansion expectations. These should supplement the location recommendations.

Web Application Development Project

Problem: The clients are always changing their schedules with the Personal Support Worker (PSW) or vice versa, we are not always informed, which creates a constant need to be updated to keep up with the appointments that are scheduled and kept, or scheduled then rescheduled. We are looking to build a software application where calendars are updated daily that allows us to schedule multiple events over the same time Frame (multiple schedules, one for each client) containing their schedule details, PSW details and referral source. Outcome: We need to connect our  cell phones to the company hotline , to direct our daily calls with clients and or employees as well as Email Our  PSW’S  need to  check in, with their GPS location  and client name to confirm their appointment has begun To enhance the transfer of documents from PSW’s to company data base including timesheets, legal documents and files We would like to replicate the Skip The Dishes or Uber Eats app using geolocation
