Film Review and Festival Curation
Positions available: 4Our organization needs some help reviewing and rating film submissions to our film festival! Every year, we collect short films from youth filmmakers around the world, and create a festival collection that highlights diverse voices, unique stories, and the best work from emerging filmmakers. This position would involve filtering submissions to ensure that they meet our criteria, watching films, and rating them based on our selection guidelines. This is a remote position and would require access to a computer and internet.This project will require:A critical eye for qualities that make a strong film (not just production value)An understanding of our festival and the types of films we want to highlightSelf-discipline and time management skillsUse of your home computer and internet to access FilmFreewayWe will give you access to FilmFreeway, as well as personnel, training, and supervision.
