CRM Developer internship (Level UP Version)

Positions available: 2The CRM Developer will be experienced in developing, deploying, customizing and integrating a number of different CRM systems as well as demonstrate proficiency in understanding, installing and implementing business workflows and processes into a CRM system. This role will involve working closely with the Operations Manager on a weekly basis. The CRM Developer will have the opportunity to apply their skills to solve various “real world” challenges faced by the company and have the opportunity to become a valuable team player over an 8-week timeframe (Flexible start and end date, and flexible hours). A more detailed Job Description is as follows: Core responsibilities 1. CRM Development i. Collaborate with the Operations Manager to determine the best possible solution for integrating company data into a CRM system ii. Execute the company’s CRM Plan with support from the Operations Manager iii. Develop and maintain a CRM platform that is customized to meet the business needs of the company iv. Integrate existing systems and services into the CRM architecture such as client data and information, consultant and employee information, partnership information, and a payroll system v. Complete tasks planned for each week consistently, with minimal carry over to future weeks.Compensation The CRM Developer will be hired as an independent contractor on an 8-week contract (start date is flexible to meet your program needs). For Level UP, students will receive an honorarium of $1400 CAD after successful completion of 80 hours.Hours WorkedGiven the start-up feel of our organization, there may be variation in the hours worked from week to week.The CRM Developer will attempt to adapt to these flexible work hours. The CRM Developer will be asked to work from home. It is essential to stay disciplined and ask for additional structure if required in order to succeed in this role. It is expected that successful performance in this role will require part-time hours (10 hours/week on average). To expand our product offering with a new ergonomically-designed line, we need insights into how we can redesign existing popular equipment and what products have the most design potential. IT Business Continuity with Disaster Recovery Focus

Our Goal:We are slowly moving to cloud based servers, however we do not have a detailed disaster recovery plan created.Our goal is to have the students review and evaluate our current business continuity procedures (at the moment we have a few procedures in place however nothing concrete) then provide recommendations on updating plan. We want to develop a detailed, written business continuity plan following industry standards.What we expect the students to work on:Evaluate our current business continuity proceduresProvide advice based on industry standards for creating a planOur network is mostly virtualized (VMWare is the platform used)Currently using VMWare back up software.Create a failover system (ie create a plan to start up remotely or in the cloud should something occur in order to be able to provide IT services 24/7)Experience in networks and storage is preferredExpected DeliverableA written review and report of current and recommended disaster recovery plan based on industry standards.
