February 3rd, 2022Riipen Intern Task Outline (This is a PAID internship per student via LevelUp, $1400.00 CAD)Lokx - https://lokx.ai/, is small woman-owned business (SWOB) focused on serving the overall cyber security market. We operate as system integrators and consulting engineers to provide services (professional services) and multi-vendor solution sets to our target prospects and clients.At Lokx we focus on public sector and commercial SMB prospects and clients seeking help and assistance in strengthening and improving their “cyber hygiene”. Our engagements can take many forms - purchasing relevant equipment and providing installation, providing consultation on risk and compliance issues including performing gap analysis, risk assessments and audits, developing pre and post incident response plans and cyber awareness training for prevention. We represent a number of “best of breed”, marquee, equipment and software companies used to fulfill our mission with clients.Geographically we are headquartered in Atlanta Georgia U.S. with an orientation to serving the southeastern U.S (D.C to Texas, down to Florida).Background - This request covers a couple of different tasks substantially around business planning and market development.. Accepting party should be prepared to execute on both.In all cases Lokx expects to be actively involved in helping to achieve the desired outcome. This will include, but no limited to, providing mentoring, daily/weekly guidance, examples of prior work product both Lokx and competitors. Zoom or video conferencing calls as need be for “check-ins” and progress updates.Tasks Take a list (list provided) of top MSPs/MSSPs and expand on currently known information about the company. This will include but is not limited to- prospect research from publicly available sources surfacing additional key contacts working within the prospect company, up to 3/5 contacts in total. Surface and research additional useful contact details on each of the contacts such as valid corporate email address and LinkedIn profile. Document results of this collected information is a Lokx provided GoogleSheet.Conduct market research and sampling from this same list of 500 target prospects. This subtask can be conducted via written or voice survey with results compiled into a Lokx provided GoogleSheet. Lokx will provide detailed guidance with regard to the focus of this sampling to ensure a representative sampling and subset across the 500 targetsTimeline - while we would like to get this project completed ASAP, Lokx is very flexible on overall timing. In all cases Lokx will comply with any time constraints imposed by Riipen.
