Digital Content Creation - Tik Tok/Reels

Number of individual students required: 6-8students ORNumber of students required to work in team: 6 teams of 1 students or 3 teams of 2 -3 studentsOBJECTIVE: As a part of our social media marketing initiatives with Tik-Tok and Reels (Instagram), we’re looking for Video shooting to take on the video creating, shooting and editing component of this initiative. Around 10-20 videos (15 - 20 second each) need the final touches.FINAL PROJECT DELIVERABLES:At least 5 videos per student or 10 videos per team that’s gone through the video editing and approvedTO SUCCEED AT THIS PROJECT, THE STUDENT WOULD NEED:An ability to pick up on new technology quicklyStrongly preferred if you have a previous experience or training with video shooting; but happy to train the right candidateUltimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.

We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. Our family-owned restaurant has been in operation for over 25 years in the greater Edmonton area. Social Media Content Producer Summer Fall 2022

Number of students required to work in team: ( 1 team of 3 students )This project could appeal to students in digital marketing programs or media production.Get Glasses Online is a new e-commerce retailer specializing in affordable prescription glasses and sunglasses. Our goal is to be a national leader in eyewear e-commerce. We would like students to help us with creating entertaining and engaging shareable video and static content on TikTok, IG, YouTube and Facebook.The main tasks for this project will be:Create video content for social media platforms (mainly IG)Create static posts for all social media platforms (mainly IG)Working closely with SEO and content specialist/marketing teamOur ideal team will have great creative acumen and skilled in storytelling and production with an appetite for experimentation. In addition, the ideal team will have a ‘creator’ mindset, and keep up-to-date on social media content trends and will most importantly be idea-driven.
