About Company FA Media Inc . is the developer of Ferries App , which provides ferry schedule and sailing information for the 20 million+ people that travel on BC Ferries every year. Since 2012, Ferries App has provided travelers with quick access to schedules in an intuitive mobile interface. The app is a free download in both Apple and Google Play app stores, and has been downloaded hundreds of thousands of times. During peak travel seasons, it has cracked the Top 50 in the Canadian app store within the Travel category. The app has been on "auto pilot" the last couple years, with little effort given to marketing the app or building a brand around it. User acquisition has been all organic thanks to some SEO, but it's far from optimized. The team at FA Media Inc. are currently developing a brand new version of the app with many significant improvements over the current version. We're now ready to turn up the dials on marketing and need your help! Project Summary We are putting a significant investment into development of the new version of the app, and we want to maximize user acquisition and adoption once it launches. Put simply, we want to reach as many people as possible within our target audience. We need your help to develop a Digital Brand & Social strategy to help us develop our social media "voice" and drive awareness of the app. As part of this project, we would like you to: Spend some time getting to know the app and its use cases, features, and benefits Get into the mind of the user and think about how they will use the app throughout the lifecycle of their trip plan/journey Create an actionable plan for utilizing the FerriesApp social media accounts to drive user awareness and adoption (Twitter & Instagram). This includes development of the creative for social media profiles and creation of a social media/content calendar. Setup/configure/handover any tools/software that we will need to manage ongoing social media activities Conduct keyword research and produce 5 content pieces (500-750 words each) that will be published as articles on our website. We will discuss and mutually agree on the topics for the articles to ensure they are relevant and support our user acquisition strategy. About You!
