Bio

As a UX/UI designer, I strive to create joyful product experiences that serve everybody. I am currently a UX/UI Design Fellow at Springboard, where I am pursuing an intensive full-time UX/UI design certificate to enhance my user-centered design skills.

My passion for inclusive design stems from my previous leadership role with PayPal, where I contributed the "Inclusionist" Program, a groundbreaking initiative that engaged cross-functional product teams to build more accessible, equitable, and innovative experiences for their customers globally.

I am driven by a deep-rooted belief in the power of inclusive design and the power to delight customers customers. My goal is to leverage my expertise in diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as my user research, UI design, prototyping, and testing skills, to create products that are truly representative of the diverse global communities that use them.

In our brief time working with Becca, she continued to impress us through her thoughtful drive and genuine care for those she collaborates with and designs for. Becca's drive and professionalism is commendable, especially as an up and coming designer. Becca seems to bring a well developed skillset from her experience in program management which will be an asset to her as she continues to grow and excel as a UX designer. Throughout her work with us, she demonstrated the ability to balance being a learner who seeks out feedback and values growth, with being a confident and polished leader and presenter. It is evident that Becca has a genuine care and aptitude for creating inclusive experiences that are valuable and meaningful for everyone, not just for some (whether that be ensuring all on the product team feel heard and respected, or ensuring all of the users of an experience she designs are thought of and considered). Becca is positioned to be a tremendous value add to any design team.

Team feedback
Both Becca and Ryan did a great job jumping into the IDP head first. They were eager to learn, improve and provide value for our team. Through this experience, they seemed to grow as presenters and understand the need for telling the story of how you used research to guide design decisions, and the importance of doing dry-runs for presentations. Ryan and Becca went above and beyond in this IDP - their ability to continuously seek out and integrate feedback was impressive!
