Sales Plan for Podcast Series
The primary focus for the student will be: (Remove any that don't apply) One of the podcast series that Alternative Food Network produces is called Plant Based Diet . Based on the number of downloads, it is now time to monetize the audience. I would like to the students to assist with a plan for said monetization. This would include: Sales (BtoB): Identification of potential podcast sponsors/brands and the appropriate contact information at those brands; Landing on a price point for pre-roll and mid-roll podcast ads; figuring out the optimal way to approach potential sponsors and provide the written text to do so. Marketing (BtoC)- Complete a full customer, competitor and market analysis for Alternative Food Network "food as medicine" podcasts (i.e. including who's listening and who should be listening ); complete a marketing strategy review; design a new marketing strategy (product, place and promotion);

Podcast Market Analysis
We produce two podcast series. One is called Plant Based Diet and is free to the consumer. The second podcast series currently in production is Doctors+ which is also free to the consumer but also includes paid subscription episodes on Apple Podcasts. I would like to know the number of downloads and type of engagement that competitors in the health/wellness podcast space get. I would also like to know how competitors monetize their content, what businesses are willing to sponsor and what consumers are willing to pay for.
