I would like students to help me create a strategy to promote my unique website, AncientChess.com. I need to create a complete marketing strategy, using the most popular social media outlets, and designing a consistent month-to-month plan for connecting with my potential customers.I have been selling online, at a low level, for the past 18 years, but I have not learned the most effective ways of using my time and resources. I really need objective guidance and help planning to get the word out and continue to engage customers.The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following:What are the most direct, time-efficient ways to promote my website and web presence?What social media channels should I utilize?What makes sense as far as online advertising?How can I use images, video and messaging to the best advantage?

I need a new, clear and effective selling website.I already have existing sites and selling on eBay (see ancientchess.com for reference),but I need one really good site to show and sell my products.Students should be prepared to:Conduct a needs analysis to determine which platform is most suitable.Create a design proposal including mock-ups, budget, and timeline. Build a fully-functioning website, easy to navigate, able to sell products.
