Virtual Internship: Market Research (Targeting Podcasts and Blogs)

Positions available: 1 Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for 1 eager student.FOCUS: The primary focus for this project will be to identify (30+) podcasts and blogs that have an audience of women over 40 years of age who may want to interview Elizabeth about Spoken Lives or write about this project. The student will identify the main contact and support her by writing key points to touch upon when Elizabeth films a video message to be sent to these contacts. Elizabeth is also open to coaching as she prepares these videos. GOAL: Our goal at the end of this experience is to secure 10 interviews and 5 blog articles. Facebook live interviews will be considered as well.STRETCH GOAL: Other duties the student may complete could include feedback on our approach to social media and website. Connecting Tourism Differently

The HTCC is an annual event between Ryerson University, University of Guelph and the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) that creates a platform for students to apply their HTM knowledge to real-life scenarios.

Students are required to analyze the case provided (Hospitality or Tourism), create a presentation with 3 hours of preparation, and then present to a panel of industry professionals. The judges will determine the standing of each of them.

We have assembled two working groups of industry professionals from varied backgrounds, at various experience levels to work on two carbon negative event “moonshots” to be presented at the Feb 8th event as we make our way to carbon neutral events.
