Data Analytics and Reporting: Geospatial and Boating

We’d like students to help analyze our datasets to draw helpful insights. Using publicly available datasets, students will be given the opportunity to learn how to clean, structure, analyze, and most importantly report on and draw conclusions from the data.  Data sources will include US Coast Guard accident data as well as other geospatial datasets. From this analysis, we hope to not only improve our processes and understanding but also gain insights that will enhance our strategy. These insights will be directly related to business outcomes.
